Have a bath, get breakfast and be ready to depart on the first leg of the tour, the Ram Mandir. Please make sure you wear modest clothing and carry your ID cards and other supporting documents.
  2. Our guide will drop you at the outskirts of Ram Mandir, from where you can buy flowers and Prasad and incense sticks etc. The temple is huge and you will need maximum time here for admiring the minute carving and other attractions. Many tourists want to witness different Aartis and are willing to stay back and occupy the closest positions.

If you wish to spend this entire day here, as it is the main attraction, please feel free to tell our guide. We will adjust the itinerary accordingly.
  4. The Hanuman Garhi Temple is the next tourist stop. It is said, visit to Lord Hanuman is a must after visiting the Ram Temple. It is situated on a hilltop and has a stairway having 76 steps, leading to the entrance. This temple has a cave adorned with statues of Lord Hanuman and his mother Anjani Mata. You can rest for a few minutes and observe the enchanting view of Ayodhya from this hilltop.
  5. Now we will proceed to Saryu Ghat and experience the serene atmosphere. It is believed Lord Rama took Jal Samadhi. There are 14 Ghats namely, Guptar, Kaikeyi, Kaushalya, Paap Mochan, Lakshman, Sahastradhara, Rinmochan, Shivala, Jatai, Ahilyabai, Dhaurahara, Janaki and Naya Ghat respectively.
  6. Situated along the Naya Ghat is the Treta Ke Thakur Temple, famous for statues of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, Lakshman, Lord Hanuman, Bharat and Sugreev from a single black sandstone.

If you want, you can also bathe at any of the Ghat. Boatmen with their decorated boats are always present and you can go for a ride, looking at the beauty of the riverfront. There are nearby bazaars where you can take a stroll and taste the local street food which is tasty and have a distinct but different flavor.

We recommend staying here as there is a beautiful Aarti ceremony done on these Ghats. It is beautiful to watch and you surely will want to record.
